Fakaalofa atu everyone! Yesterday on Thursday October 16th some students from each class of the school got picked to be in a math competition, and I was one of them. We had our own teams, and one teacher from each class had to be in one the student’s team to help hand out the questions. We started the competition off by choosing a runner who would go get the question from the teacher we were assigned with, and when it started our runner ran up to the teacher, ran back and we got the first question wrong a few times but managed to get it right a few seconds later. After a few minutes the round ended and we got last, because we weren’t thinking in the right mind space, but that’s okay because we have another competition next week, so hopefully we can get placed in either 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
